About Us

HISTORY

UCM emerged out of the belief that a cooperative program will yield results greater than the sum of individual congregations’ programs, and that cooperative ministry invigorates participating congregations as well as the community itself.

VISION

Our vision is to seek to improve the quality of life in the community surrounding the corner of Union and Delmar. We work to confront poverty, hunger, and educational disparity, which are often rooted in racism and classism, through holistic approaches such as discussion, action, and community building.

Partners

UCM is a partnership between Pilgrim United Church of Christ (UCC), Union Avenue Christian Church (DOC) and Westminster Presbyterian Church (USA).

UCM is a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible organization.
